A television comes off the wall when the bracket is fixed to drywall instead of framing. We locate the studs, anchor into them, and set the screen level.
What the job involves
Finding and marking the studs, fixing the bracket into solid framing, hanging the screen, levelling it, and tidying the cables so nothing hangs down the wall.
Walls that need more thought
Drywall over metal studs, brick and masonry, and fireplace surrounds each need different fixings. Mounting above a working fireplace also puts the screen in heat and higher than is comfortable to watch, which is worth talking about before we drill.
Cables
Cables can run inside the wall or in a trim channel painted to match. In-wall is tidier and takes longer.
What we do not do
We do not add or move electrical outlets. If the job needs a new socket behind the screen, that is work for a licensed electrician, and we will say so rather than improvise.
