Most furniture damage in a move happens before the truck arrives. Taking a piece apart properly is what lets it survive the trip.
Before the move
Beds, wardrobes, tables and shelving come apart in the right order, fixings are bagged and labelled per piece, and panels are protected so the corners do not get crushed in transit.
After the move
The same pieces go back together at the other end. Because the fixings were labelled, reassembly is quick and nothing is missing.
Timing
Disassembly is usually the evening before, and reassembly the day of the move or the day after. Tell us the date and we fit around it.
